I will see to it that this information is included in the next update of the Mater Dei website, which is the most up-to-date listing of Traditional Latin Masses approved by legitimate authority. While an anticipated Mass is not traditional per se, this does count as an every-Sunday Mass under current liturgical law, so I hereby add the Archdiocese of Anchorage to the list of U.S. sees having the T.L.M. on the every-Sunday bssis. I believe that the total number is now 144 out of the 176 Latin territorial dioceses.

I also report the good news that, thanks to the intervention of two brothers who are both priests, our every-Sunday Masses in the Diocese of Yakima (State of Washington) are not lost. Alleluia!

Happy New Year!

Hi - I posted last night about whether or not there is really going to be a TLM this evening or not. I don't know why I was dumb enough to include my cell phone number, but can you please remove the post? Thank you.

I hope Father Vincent is okay...I am not of the parish but know he was not at school where he says Mass on Thursday. Our prayers are with him.

Please see the most recent post as to what's going on with the Latin Mass being postponed. (No worries, just a pesky certificate of occupancy that got in the way.) Fr. Vincent is on retreat this week, which is why he may not have been around at school. The cell phone number has been deleted.
I'll report back as soon as I know more on when the Mass will begin.

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes,

Thank you for deleting my phone number.

I don't know what made me check HFC's web site because I had no reason to doubt the Mass would happen. That was the night we had the heavy snow, so even though I was disappointed, it saved me a dangerous drive. I need to remember who the patron saint of motorists is. Glad Fr. Vincent is OK.
